Stride Athletics Hockey Programs
Stride Athletics strength & conditioning, and on-ice programs are designed to give athletes a significant physical and mental edge in the upcoming hockey season. This is a complete conditioning and skill development program. Chad Shiel has developed a proven system that has successfully enhanced the performance of many Pro, College, Junior, Midget, and Bantam players. This is not just an offseason conditioning program this is a total player development program.

Spring and Summer High Performance Programs

College / Pro Spring Program (8 weeks)
The Spring Program is constructed into phase 1 of a three phase periodized program. Players will focus their efforts on developing a foundation of strength, power, and speed.
April 8 – May 30, 2024
Dryland Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs
Cost: $825 + GST
College / Pro Summer Program (12 weeks)
The Summer Program is designed to prepare elite players for the upcoming hockey season. In the summer program players will begin more advanced hockey specific training methods, as well as take to the ice to begin working on skating mechanics, speed, quickness, agility, puck skills, high intensity flow drills and scrimmages. The summer program combines high intensity off ice hockey specific training and on-ice development.
On Ice Sessions will focus on:

Skill Development (Skating, Passing, Puck Control, Shooting & Scoring)

Learning to play on both sides of the puck (Offense & Defense)

Junior Spring Program (12 weeks)

Junior Summer Program (7 weeks)
In this program players will focus their efforts on developing a foundation of speed, agility, strength, coordination, and explosive power. This is a proven program designed to maximize results.
Dry-land Sessions will focus on:
